DIRECTIONS TO FAIRFAX CAMPUS (4400 University Dr. Fairfax, VA) FROM THE CAPITAL BELTWAY (I-495)
Take exit 54A, Braddock Road West (Route 620). Follow Braddock Road West for approximately six miles. Pass the first entrance to George Mason University, and turn right at the stop light on to Roanoke River Road. Bear left at the fork in the road on to Patriot Circle. Take your second left into Parking Lot J. Once parked, walk back across Patriot Circle at the pedestrian crosswalk. There you will find a sign with a GMU, campus locator map, indicating your current location relative to the location of the classroom building. |
DIRECTIONS TO FAIRFAX CAMPUS (4400 University Dr.) VIA I-66E FROM FRONT ROYAL & FAIRFAX COUNTY PKWY
Exit at the Fairfax County Parkway South (Route 7100). Exit the Parkway at Braddock Road, and follow Braddock Road East. After crossing Route 123 (Ox Road) take the first left on to Roanoke River Road. Bear left at the fork in the road on to Patriot Circle. Take your second left into Parking Lot J. Once parked, walk back across Patriot Circle at the pedestrian crosswalk. There you will find a sign with a GMU, campus locator map, indicating your current location relative to the location of the classroom building. |

DIRECTIONS TO FAIRFAX CAMPUS (4400 University Dr.) VIA I-66W FROM WASHINGTON D.C. OR ARLINGTON
Take exit 60 at Route 123 South, Chain Bridge Road. Follow Route 123 through the City of Fairfax, and turn left on to Braddock Rd. At the first signal, turn left on Roanoke River Road. Bear left at the fork in the road on to Patriot Circle. Take your second left into Parking Lot J. Once parked, walk back across Patriot Circle at the pedestrian crosswalk. There you will find a sign with a GMU, campus locator map, indicating your current location relative to the location of the classroom building. |
DIRECTIONS TO FAIRFAX CAMPUS (4400 University Dr.) FROM I-95 (NORTH OR SOUTH)
From points north on I-95, take exit 27 (I-495 West), then follow the directions "from the Capital Beltway (I-495)."
From points south on I-95, take exit 160B (Route 123 North) at Lake Ridge/Occoquan. Follow Route 123 north for approximately 15 miles to Braddock Road. Turn right on Braddock Road. At the first signal turn left on Roanoke River Road. Bear left at the fork in the road on to Patriot Circle. Take your second left into Parking Lot J. Once parked, walk back across Patriot Circle at the pedestrian crosswalk. There you will find a sign with a GMU, campus locator map, indicating your current location relative to the location of the classroom building. |
DIRECTIONS TO FAIRFAX CAMPUS (4400 University Dr.) FROM WASHINGTON D.C. & ARLINGTON VIA ROUTE 50
Follow Route 50 West outside the Capital Beltway, through Fairfax Circle, to Route 123 South, Chain Bridge Road. Follow Route 123 South, through the City of Fairfax to a left turn on to Braddock Road. At the first signal on Braddock Road turn left on to Roanoke River Road. Bear left at the fork in the road on to Patriot Circle. Take your second left into Parking Lot J. Once parked, walk back across Patriot Circle at the pedestrian crosswalk. There you will find a sign with a GMU, campus locator map, indicating your current location relative to the location of the classroom building. |
DIRECTIONS TO FAIRFAX CAMPUS (4400 University Dr.) FROM VIENNA METRO STATION
Exit the Vienna Metro on Nutley Avenue South (Route 243). Follow Nutley to Route 29 and turn right. At Route 50 (Arlington Blvd.), turn right again. Stay on Route 50 to Route 123 South(Chain Bridge Road), then turn left. Follow Route 123 South through the City of Fairfax to a left on Braddock Road. Once on Braddock Road take your first left at Roanoke River Road. Bear left at the fork in the road on to Patriot Circle. Take your second left into Parking Lot J. Once parked, walk back across Patriot Circle at the pedestrian crosswalk. There you will find a sign with a GMU, campus locator map, indicating your current location relative to the location of the classroom building. |
